Mariah Carey left thousands of revellers waiting for more than two hours after demanding a doctor examine her throat before she went on stage in Las Vegas this past week.
Fans turned out in droves on Saturday night to see the hitmaker close out her “Angels Advocate Tour” at The Colosseum, but a packed house wasn’t enough to make a restless Mariah delay a trip to the MD after allegedly suffering problems with her vocal chords, according to New York Post gossip column PageSix.
After getting the all clear from docs, Mariah further delayed the show by waiting in her car until waning R&B star Ciara, who was also performing at the venue, completed her performance.
“Ciara was performing as Mariah arrived, so she waited in the car, saying she didn’t want to upstage her.”
