We are looking for someone with a STRONG Communications.
Operating as one of the 14 business units, the Offshore unit focuses exclusively on selling, constructing and operating wind power plants at sea. With offices based in Denmark, the Netherlands, China, North America, Germany and the United Kingdom, we are responsible for involvement of offshore wind power plants worldwide.

Responsibilities and tasks:
To enhance our PR efforts and improve external communications in general we are looking for a Communications Advisor to primarily handle external communications. The successful candidate will be working out of our offices in Warrington, UK, but since the Offshore unit works globally your focus will be on customers, media and other external stakeholders globally.
Main areas of responsibility include:
• Driving the execution of the Offshore external communication strategy
• Building and driving value adding customer communications
• Building and maintaining close relations with relevant media worldwide
• Ensuring and tracking media coverage worldwide
• Handling media inquiries, setting up media interviews and coordinating media visits
• Writing press releases, stock exchange announcements, speeches, articles and various other communication materials
• Advising top-management in the Offshore unit on PR/external communication matters
Qualifications and work experience
• You have excellent communication and writing skills
• You understand that there is a good story in everything as long as the angle is right – and you know how to find that angle
• You are highly experienced in working with the media and in building relationships
• You thrive on tight deadlines and are able to deliver, even when under pressure
• You have a high level English proficiency, both written and oral
• You are a pro-active person with a great deal of initiative
• You are independent, structured and systematic in your approach to the daily work
• You are quality minded and pay attention to details even when things move fast
