MIAMI-A new poll released tomorrow from Public Policy Polling will have far from good news for Florida GOP Senate candidate Gov.Charlie Crist, according to the organization’s director.
” We are going to have absolutely brutal numbers out on Charlie Crist tomorrow,” Tom Jensen, said in a blog post about the survey. Crist is in a battle of a primary race with former Florida House Speaker Marco Rubio, a contest that has received national media attention.
Jensen previewed part of the PPP poll: 19% of primary voters would like to see Crist as governor a year from now, 14% want him in the Senate, and 56% want him out of “any elected office”.
“If there is any path to his winning office in Florida again- and there may not be- it’s as something other than a Republican, ” Jensen concludes.
