Casting News: Josh Brolin of W fame, Borat’s Sacha Baron Cohen, and Flight of the Conchords star Jermaine Clement have been tipped for lead roles in the upcoming third film in the Men In Black franchise.
Will Smith is expected to reprise his role as Agent J, while Josh Brolin has been named as a potential replacement for Tommy Lee Jones’s K in the alien-fighting action-comedy flick. Comedy stars Cohen and Clement are both being considered to play a new “Galaxy Defender” named Yaz, BloodyDisgusting.com reported on Wednesday.
The Men In Black franchise centers on a covert government agency which polices aliens residing on Earth. The 1996 original and a 2002 sequel grossed more than a combined $1 billion at the international box office.
