SPRINGFIELD, IL— State Sen. Michael Bond (D-Grayslake) passed legislation this week designed to attract new businesses to Illinois and enhance the State’s entrepreneur industry.
Senate Bill 3638 creates the Illinois Innovation Zone Act, offering tax incentives, loans, and financial assistance to promote the development and sustainability of a technology-based economy in Illinois. Bond is confident that the investment in this sector will result in many new high-skill, high-wage jobs in Illinois.
