Actress Jennifer Love Hewitt and actor/comedian Jamie Kennedy have broken up after a year of dating.
The couple’s break up was amicable and both are hoping they can remain good friends.
A source told People magazine: “It wasn’t contentious. It had kind of just run its course. They just sort of looked at each other and said, ‘We like each other and we make each other laugh, but this isn’t for the long-term.’
“She’s working constantly, and Jamie’s working on the show and touring. It just isn’t conducive to a relationship.”
Although any breakup is tough, I think both will do just fine in the dating scene after their wounds are healed. They both seem like genuinely nice people. Best of luck to you both!
