Homicide investigators were called to Compton on Monday night after a body was found near the 91 Freeway, authorities said.
The body was found shortly before 7 p.m. near South Alameda Street and East Artesia Boulevard, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.
It was unclear whether any foul play was involved. Homicide detectives routinely respond to any report of a body found, the department said.
