Reality star and biker enthusiast Jesse James has broken his silence on the rumors of infidelity that have romantically-linked him to a heavily tattooed former stripper — apologizing for the “grief” he has caused his Oscar-winning wife Sandra Bullock and his children.
On Wednesday, In Touch Magazine published a tell-all titled “The Ultimate Betrayal,” an interview with Michelle “Bombshell” McGee, an exotic dancer-turned-tattoo model who claims she had an 11-month affair with James, that started while Sandra was in Atlanta filming her award-winning role in The Blind Side.
Bullock has cancelled a planned red carpet appearance in London next week and may have moved out of the home she shares with Jesse amid reports that he cheated on her.
Stopping short of a full confession, James called “the vast majority” of claims that have surfaced “untrue and unfounded,” but did apologize for the “pain and embarrassment” he’s caused his family: “It’s because of my poor judgment that I deserve everything bad that is coming my way,” he said in the statement. “This has caused my wife and kids pain and embarrassment beyond comprehension and I am extremely saddened to have brought this on them. I am truly very sorry for the grief I have caused them. I hope one day they can find it in their hearts to forgive me.”
