My client is a leader in providing installation services to the global wind industry. They work with Utilities, Independent Developers and Turbine Manufacturers providing installation services to the onshore wind industry throughout Europe and the Americas. A need has arisen for a European Resource Coordinator to carry out the following responsibilities…
- Responsible for coordination of European/German resources for installation and maintenance projects which includes organisation of staff, subcontractors, technicians, QA personnel, administrative staff, tools and equipment specific to turbine installation.
- Manage and coordinate training of operation and installation personnel and ensure training certifications are current.
- Proactively identify and assess the need for additional education and training needs of personnel in order to increase employee value and overall performance.
- Assure that installation work is performed to manufacturer specification and company guidelines.
- Assist Sales and Project Departments pertaining to technical installation matters.
- Maintain and update inhouse project planning systems.
- Assist with producing new training manuals and guidlines.
The person could be based in either Northern Germany or Denmark and they must be able to speak both German and English.
Candidates must have previous resource management experience, preferably in the wind turbine industry
Ideally the candidate will hold (or has held) a similar resource planning position with a turbine manufacturer or contractor.
Applicants must be able to speak both German and English fluently
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous Wind Turbine Installation experience – Highly desireable
Multi project resource planning experience – Essential
