Paula Abdul and High School Musical director and choreographer Kenny Ortega are in talks to headline a new dance show on NBC, according to Entertainment Weekly.
The show, which is still in development, would see Abdul and Ortega choreographing dance routines for flash mobs — a social movement which bring together groups of people for spontaneous performances in public places.
The former American Idol judge recently backed out of a deal with ABC to appear in a revivial of Star Search. Since leaving her post at Idol the singing star has been offered a spot on the cast of Dancing With The Stars. She has also been rumored to be joining Simon Cowell’s The X Factor.
