Today, House Bill 631 passed the Idaho State House by a vote of 61 to 7 with two absent votes. This legislation is designed to update Idaho state law to meet the requirements set forth in the Federal NICS Improvement Amendments Act of 2007 (NIAA). HB 631 now moves to the Senate where it awaits its next assignment.
