On Tuesday, March 30, the Kansas State Senate unanimously passed Senate Bill 381. This bill, commonly known as â??castle doctrine legislation,â?? would make important corrections to Kansasâ?? current self-defense statute. The bill now moves to the desk of Governor Mark Parkinson (D) for his consideration.
