Lordy….Is Sandra Bullock really having second thoughts about ditching her cheating cad of spouse, Jesse James?
The motorcycle enthusiast – who is accused of cheating on the actress with at least five other women since the pair wed in 2005 – is reportedly winning in his bid to convince Sandra to give their love a second chance. Jesse – linked to tattoo model Michelle McGee, stripper Melissa Smith, photographer Brigitte Daguerre, and two unnamed mistresses – has spoken about his regret over the upset and hurt he has caused Sandra and checked into an Arizona rehab facility on Monday to treat a supposed sex addiction.
His efforts are said to be warming an otherwise devastated Sandra.
“Jesse checked himself into a treatment facility to deal with personal issues. He realized that this time was crucial to help himself, help his family and help save his marriage,” the star’s rep told PEOPLE this week.
“Sandra and Jesse have been speaking a lot, and now that he is finally taking responsibility and taking positive action, Sandra is thinking about giving him a second chance,” a friend of the actress allegedly told PopEater’s Rob Shuter. “Jesse is in really bad shape and she’s not the sort of girl to kick a dog when he’s down. At the very least, you can expect Sandra to put the divorce on hold until after he gets treatment.”
Meanwhile, on Wednesday, the award-winning sweetheart left the house for the first time since the cheating scandal broke nearly three weeks ago to visit her “dear friend” businessman Gabriel Brener.
