The White House Project and the First Lady of Mattel — who has dabbled in more than 126 careers over the past 51 years — are teaming up for a new initiative aimed at helping girls. The goal is to get 1 million declaration signatures for the “Ignite a National Movement to Inspire Girls.” The idea behind this is to gain support for a partnership to help get girls into hands-on work experiences through Take Our Daughters And Sons To Work Day. Once 1 million signatures have been gathered, the declaration will be presented to First Lady Michelle Obama.
