Sometimes I believe that we live in a sort of alternate universe, one where logic does not apply. It tries to improve HDL level by (Foxl’s favorite) niacin. If a doctor, or anyone else, were simply to skim headlines, surely they would come to the conclusion that it doesn’t matter what level of hdl a diabetic has, they are not protected. In fact, I believe what the article states is that it is very important for a diabetic to have high HDL.
