BMW Just 4/2 concept – Click above for high-res image gallery

Some of BMW’s most unusual and least well-known concept vehicles have been created by Technik GmbH. Technik was launched by BMW 25 years ago as a research think tank. While only one Technik vehicle has ever made it all the way to production, many of the technologies developed there, including iDrive and active cruise control, are now common on BMW, Mini and Rolls-Royce vehicles.

The one Technik concept that did get to production was the low-volume Z1, which brought BMW back into the roadster segment after a long absence. The Z1 Coupe never got past the concept stage, but the shooting brake design did evolve into the Z3 coupe of the mid-1990s. The E1 concept was the first electric-drive BMW, and although it will have taken over two decades, it shares a lineage with an upcoming BMW production EV. Along the way, the 2001 Z29 coupe was built up from a Formula One-style carbon-fiber monocoque powered by a then-current M3 inline-six.

The latest product from Technik is the 1 Series-based fuel cell hybrid concept, which uses a compact hydrogen fuel cell to maintain charge on a lithium ion battery for extended-range driving. Check out the whole gallery of Technik concepts below.

  • Woolaroc

Image of Woolaroc located in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, US | Woolaroc Lodge.

    Woolaroc

An oil baron’s wild paradise and the winner of an ill-fated air race

In August 1927, eight small planes lined up for a historic air race across the Pacific, from Oakland to Honolulu. At the controls of the Woolaroc monoplane was WWI veteran and Hollywood stunt pilot Art Goebel, determined to claim the $25,000 prize.
The race seemed cursed from the start. First, two upstart Army pilots decided to take it upon themselves to complete the route two months before the scheduled contest. Then, in the days before the race start, four planes crashed in preliminary flights, killing all aboard two.
On race day, eight planes set out to take off, but only four planes made it off the ground.
Some 26 hours later, only two landed – the other two planes were never seen again. Three days later, one of the grounded planes from Oakland took off to search for the two lost planes – and they also, were never seen again.
Goebel and the Woolaroc won the race in 26 hours, 17 minutes, and the Woolaroc was returned to a place of pride in Oaklahoma at Frank Philips’ ranch of the same name.
At Woolaroc ranch, Oilman Frank Philips’ developed his property into an artistic and cultural compound surrounded by wildlife. The name is a portmanteau mashed together from woods, lakes, and rocks that cover the 3,700 acres. Woolaroc is intended to be more than just a nature preserve or a museum, but a record of Oklahoma’s untamed past.
Woolaroc was established in 1925 in the Osage Hills in Northeastern Oklahoma, outside of Bartlesville where Frank Philips founded Philips Petroleum Company. On entering Woolaroc, visitors drive through two miles of open wildlife preserve, where buffalo, deer, and Longhorn cattle graze at the side of the road, and exotic animals like water buffalo and Scottish Highland cattle watch passing cars.
At the end of the road is a complex of stone buildings with the museum at its center. Colorful mosaics of Native American dancers border the museum’s high doors, and inside rooms are packed with Western art, cowboy memorabilia, Colt firearms, and Native American artifacts from over 40 tribes. Alongside works by Frederic Remington, Charles M. Russell, Thomas Moran, and the Taos Society Artists are taxidermy animals, chairs made from horns, and mounted animal heads. There are also several shrunken human heads (although one is said to be a monkey), a diorama depicting a human sacrifice, and an electric miniature powwow where hoop and fancy dancers bounce in a circle to drum music. The museum began as a pavilion for the triumphant Woolaroc single-engine monoplane, still on display.
Overlooking the lake is Philips’ lodge, holding 97 mounted animal heads and 107 sets of horns in its Great Room. Each animal is said to have died from natural causes, not hunting, although their deaths may have been equally unpleasant. One of the giraffes perished at Woolaroc when it fell off a cliff shortly after its arrival and broke its neck, prompting Philips to stop another expected giraffe from coming to the treacherous Oklahoma terrain. In addition to being his ranch home, the lodge was where Philips met with oil investors, outlaws, cowboys, and Native American tribal leaders like his friends Bacon Rind and Fred Lookout.
Nature trails are accessible from the museum complex and the Baby Animal Barn has a petting zoo with buffalo, deer, donkeys, and other young animals. A taxidermy buffalo equipped with a vacuum in its mouth will take any trash from your hands while telling stories in a slight drawl.
Although he died in 1950, Frank Philips remains at his beloved Woolaroc, entombed in the mausoleum visible in the distance from the road exiting the ranch.

Thank God for crazy people. They’re the ones who give us the best YouTube videos. To wit, after the jump, you’ll see a couple of Icelandic snowmobilers with a lot of confidence and an unhealthy lack of fear showing off their winter-edition “Jackass” skills.

The pair ride their sleds into a local reservoir featuring some incredibly steep concrete walls for a bit of “fun.” The video starts out slowly enough, until the first guy drives his snowmobile up the side of a 30-foot cliff. Impressive, if not foolhardy stuff. The next guy decides to top his pal with a move that would leave Einstein and Newton scratching their heads. We aren’t sure if we want to send him to a psych ward or present him with a Liberty Bell-sized set of Truck Nutz. Hit the jump only if you’re fully prepared to be stupefied.

  • Report: Alfa Romeo Giulia sedan to launch next year?

    Alfa Giulietta

Alfa Romeo Giulietta – Click above to jump to the online configurator

With the new Giulietta now out in the open, Alfa Romeo‘s attention is turning to its big brother. Set to replace the 159 sometime next year, the highly-anticipated nuova Giulia promises to improve on the outgoing sedan’s lackluster driving dynamics.

Based on Alfa’s variable C/D platform, the Giulia is tipped to get a McPherson front suspension with a twin-link rear setup. As with the Alfa 159, the Giulia is expected to be front-drive, with the trick Q4 all-wheel-drive system available as an option, hooked up to a variety of turbodiesel and MultiAir gasoline engines.

Unlike the MiTo and Giulietta, both of which are hatchback-only, the Giulia promises both four-door sedan and five-door wagons as part of the mix. The tantalizing end of the range, however, is tipped to include an in-house GTA model – with at least 300 horsepower, all-wheel drive and seven-speed dual-clutch transmission – and a lightweight, front-drive version with 350 horsepower to be co-developed with famed Alfa tuner Autodelta.

We’ll have to wait to see if the speculation proves accurate – and, for that matter, if the car will take its design cues from the 8C Competizione, the Bertone Pandion or the Pininfarina 2uettottanta. But in the meantime, you’re invited to tinker around with the online configurator that Alfa just launched for the Giulietta hatchback, where you’ll find you can order it in any color you want, as long as it’s a shade of gray.

  • Again, The Big Problem With Unemployment Is The LENGTH OF TIME People Are Unemployed

Here is a graph of the unemployment rate seasonally adjusted and not seasonally adjusted – plus, by request, two more graphs of the duration of unemployment.

Unemployment Seasonal Click on graph for larger image in new window.

The first graph shows the calculated unemployment rate – both seasonally adjusted (SA) and not seasonally adjusted (NSA).

Some sites noted the NSA rate was “only” 9.5% when the SA moved above 10% last October. Other sites noted that the NSA rate had hit 10.6% in January. Both sites were correct – but there is a clear seasonal pattern for employment, so the SA unemployment rate is the one to use. Note: the SA rate will be above the NSA rate in April.

ALSO – the graph above uses the calculated unemployment rate (unrounded). For March, the calculated unemployment rate was 9.749% up from 9.687% in February. Both were rounded to 9.7% …

And on duration of unemployment, by request:

Unemployment Duration This graph shows the duration of unemployment as a percent of the civilian labor force (line graph unstacked). The graph shows the number of unemployed in four categories as provided by the BLS: less than 5 week, 6 to 14 weeks, 15 to 26 weeks, and 27 weeks or more.

Note: The BLS reports 15+ weeks, so the 15 to 26 weeks number was calculated.

This really shows the change in turnover – there was more turnover in the ’70s and ’80s, since the ‘less than 5 weeks’ category was much higher as a percent of the civilian labor force than in recent years. This changed in the early ’90s – perhaps as a result of more careful hiring practices or changes in demographics or maybe other reasons – but if the level of normal turnover was the same as in the ’80s, the current unemployment rate would probably be the highest since WWII.

Unemployment Duration The last graph is a repeat, but the information is stacked in reverse order.

In March 2010, there were a record 6.55 million people unemployed for 27 weeks or more, or 4.3% of the labor force.

For more on duration (and possible causes) see my post yesterday: Duration of Unemployment

  • Michigan St Spartans versus Butler Bulldogs CBS TV NCAA Tournament Final Four Pick

Our free pick on Saturday for our message board visitors will come from the Final Four NCAA Tournament college basketball game between the Michigan St Spartans and Butler Bulldogs. They tip off this college basketball game from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis Indiana at 6PM Eastern Time and you can watch it on CBS. With our free pick we will play on the Michigan St Spartans and Butler Bulldogs to play under the total of 126 points.

Butler takes the air out of the basketball as they really work the shot clock down on the offensive end to limit possessions. They are also an outstanding defensive team who has allowed no more than 59 points to any opponents in this NCAA Tournament. Both offenses may be impacted with the surroundings, as the game will be played in a large football stadium, which is the home of the Indianapolis Colts. Low scoring grind out style type game between two very good defensive teams.

Bet Michigan St Spartans and Butler Bulldogs under 126 points.

  • France to hold official debate on climate change by Lawrence Solomon, National Post

    Article Tags: Lawrence Solomon

At the suggestion of France’s science minister, Valérie Pécresse, France’s National Academy of Sciences will hold an official debate on climate change to try to defuse this newly explosive issue..

The Academy of Sciences debate, expected to be held by October of this year, follows two months of heated debate on radio and television, during which France’s two most prominent sceptics, Claude Allegre and Vincent Courtillot, have sown great doubt in the minds of a once unskeptical French public. Allegre’s new book, L’imposture climatique (The Climate Fraud), has especially caused the French public to reconsider the conventional wisdom about global warming. In this runaway best-seller (110,000 copies sold to date), Allegre, France’s most celebrated scientist and a former Science Minister in a socialist government, calls the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, a “mafia-like system” that promotes a “baseless myth” about climate change.

In an attempt to stop the erosion of their public support, some 410 establishment scientists petitioned the current science minster, asking her to rebuke the skeptics and to express confidence in the climate research community. Her response was to turn to France’s National Academy with a request for a debate on the subject. The Academy’s president, Jean Salençon, readily agreed in the hopes that an airing of the issues would calm some of the fury on the subject.

Noting that the Academy does not take sides on the issue, and that the Academy’s website already reports the views of scientists on both sides of the debate, Salençon aims to defend the scientific method and the principles of scientific inquiry, not any one scientific position. When asked if sanctions might be in the cards for Allegre, a member of the Academy, or any other climate sceptics, he replied: “Under no circumstances! There is no question of ethical sanctions. Even less of an expulsion. The nomination for the Academy of Sciences is perpetual. It cannot be reversed, not even through a resignation.”

  • Climate Change Act has the biggest ever bill by Christopher Booker

Article Tags: Christopher Booker, Green Tax, Headline Story, Windfarms

One of the best-kept secrets of British politics – although it is there for all to see on a Government website – is the cost of what is by far the most expensive piece of legislation ever put through Parliament. Every year between now and 2050, acccording to Ed Miliband’s Department for Energy and Climate Change (Decc), the Climate Change Act is to cost us all up to £18.3 billion – £760 for every household in the country – as we reduce our carbon emissions by 80 per cent.

Last Thursday – with northern Britain again under piles of global warming – another tranche of regulations came into force, as this measure begins to take effect. New road tax rules mean that to put a larger, more CO2 -emitting car on the road will now cost £950. New “feed-in” subsidies for small-scale “renewables” mean that the installers of solar panels will be paid up to eight times the going rate for their miserable amount of electricity to be fed into the grid, with the overall bill for this scheme estimated eventually to be billions a year.

Not the least bizarre of the Government’s strategies, however, is Decc’s new Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC) scheme, requiring up to 30,000 of our largest energy users, such as ministries, councils, universities, hospitals, supermarket chains (and even “monasteries and nunneries”), to pay to register with the Environment Agency. Some 5,000 of them, using more than “6,000 megawatt hours” of electricity each year (equivalent to the needs of 1,250 homes), will then have to carry out a cumbersome audit of their carbon footprint, using “three different metrics”, in order to pay £12 for each ton of CO2 they emit – at a total initial cost estimated at £1.4 billion a year. This will eventually be contributed by all of us, either through taxes or, for instance, whenever we visit Tesco.

  • MPs begin the Climategate whitewash by Christopher Booker

    Article Tags: Christopher Booker, ClimateGate

The Commons committee seemed unable even to understand the evidence

To anyone who watched or read the hearings of the Commons committee looking into “Climategate”, the scandal over leaked documents from the East Anglia Climatic Research Unit, two things might have been obvious. The first was that all but one of the MPs (Labour’s Graham Stringer) were hopelessly out of their depth in their efforts to understand this not very complex story. The other was that their chief purpose was to find that the CRU and its director, Professor Philip Jones, had done nothing wrong and that the case for man-made global warming remained intact.

Both points were amply confirmed by the slipshod report rushed out by the MPs last week (which only Mr Stringer opposed). One cannot say the MPs deliberately missed the points raised by the Climategate scandal, because they so clearly didn’t grasp what these were in the first place. For instance, they justified Jones’s famous “hide the decline” email, by claiming that he had deleted data because it was “erroneous” – when the whole point was that he hid the data, not because it was wrong, but because it didn’t fit in with the case he and his colleagues wanted to put across.

Arguably the most interesting revelation from this non-inquiry was the admission by Professor Julia Slingo of the Met Office that it uses the same computer models for short-term weather forecasting as it does to predict climate 100 years ahead. Three years running these models have come so unstuck with their predictions of “barbecue summers” and “milder than average winters” that the Met Office has now abandoned its seasonal forecasts. Had the MPs asked her why, therefore, the models’ long-term forecasts should be regarded as any more reliable, they might have shown a spark of intelligence. As it is, when it comes to official inquiries into Climategate, we are now one pointless whitewash down with two more to come.

  • How Amazongate blighted the rainforest harvest for WWF by Christopher Booker

    Article Tags: AmazonGate, Christopher Booker

Billions of dollars in carbon credits are at stake in an Amazonian scheme

Two weeks ago I reported on what is potentially the greatest global warming wheeze of all – a scheme to claim $60 billion in carbon credits for keeping intact a large chunk of the Amazon rainforest which is not under any threat, The architects of this imaginative project are the environmental campaigners of the WWF and their close ally the Woods Hole Research Center in Massachusetts.

Last week a letter to this newspaper from Woods Hole’s CEO, William Brown, averred that it was not, as I had said, an “environmental advocacy group” but a “widely respected scientific institution”. This is precisely the claim which has been dismissed by, among others, the renowned atmospheric physicist Professor Richard Lindzen, who has more than once emphasised that the Woods Hole Research Center is “an environmental advocacy center, not to be confused with the far better known Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution”, a genuinely respected scientific body.

It was a shock claim by the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) that 40 per cent of the Amazon rainforest is threatened by global warming which gave rise to “Amazongate”, one of the many scandals lately battering the IPCC, when it emerged that this prediction was based only on a propagandist claim by the WWF, unsupported by any scientific evidence. Mr Brown’s letter went on to challenge this, arguing that the WWF’s claim was upheld by “several peer-reviewed papers including four published by the Woods Hole Research Center”.

It was nothing of the kind. Despite the best efforts of Woods Hole’s leading advocate on the Amazon to promote fears that global warming might pose a threat to the rainforest, these were only based on now discredited computer modelling. Various papers from the wider scientific community suggest a very different, much less alarming picture. But if Woods Hole and the WWF fail to promote a concern over a climatic threat to the Amazon, they might miss a chance to share in that $60 billion prize (a figure worked out by Woods Hole itself) for keeping parts of the rainforest just as they are – in what would amount to the most lucrative set-aside scheme that human ingenuity has ever devised.

  • Lying And Invention – Part And Parcel Of This Administration.

04.03.10 01:03 AM posted by Skip MacLure

You could call it creative accounting. It is certainly very wishful thinking in the face of massive evidence to the contrary, but our never-to-be-phased, ever-eager-to-invent President is out there again weaving stories out of whole cloth. His only problem is that the nation is rapidly figuring out that our would be emperor has no clothes.

Reflected in the teleprompter, Obama in Charlotte, North Carolina.

He’s actually out there touting a 9.5% unemployment rate, which if all numbers were figured in would run somewhere near 18%, as some sort of success. In fact, if the temporary hiring for the census was subtracted the unemployment figures would be even higher than 9.5%. To the adulation of the rent-a-mob crowds, which have become de rigeur at the Anointed One’s appearances, Obama had the nerve to say that we “had turned the corner” on the recession and good times will be had by all.

Hmm… an absolutely jobless recovery… three point eight million jobs lost since the stimulus bill was passed! Commercial bankruptcies at a historical high this year, banks around the country hiding foreclosures by keeping them off the market, a government whose policies toward business is completely antithetical to the private sector, while gobbling up vast chunks of the economy with absolutely no knowledge or expertise in running any of these businesses. read more »

  • Ford, Toyota March sales sore due to incentives

This is certainly a great time for would-be car buyers to become actual car buyers, as a slew of incentives are allowing manufacturers – especially Ford and Toyota – to post huge gains in March. GM’s spike of 21% was enough for them to retake the top U.S. spot after Ford grabbed it for the first time in over ten years. Ford’s sales jumped a whopping 40% while Toyota rose 41%.

Total U.S. sales were up 24% in March from the same time last year, despite the weakest demand in almost thirty years, and despite not living up to analyst’s expectations, March was the strongest month since August and ‘cash-for-clunkers’. There is concern though that this high figure may be artificially inflated, and is not expected to outlast the deals which served as the catalyst to bring people into showrooms.

Chrysler saw a per4formance decrease of 8%, being outsold yet again by Nissan, which climbed 43%. Hyundai and Nissan rose 15% and 22% respectively.

  • Red Bull Racing under scrutiny for illegal adjustable suspension?

Red Bull leads the Australian Grand Prix – Click above for high-res image gallery

Wondering how the new Red Bull RB6 has managed to outpace the competition by such an impressive margin? The team is winless so far this season, but has lead after claiming the pole in Bahrain and Australia. The failures come down to reliability, but everyone around the paddock has observed how much faster Red Bull is this season than the rest of the field.

The answer could come down to a variable suspension speculated to be part of engineer Adrian Newey’s latest design. The system allegedly adjusts the ride height constantly over the course of the race distance, an advantage banned under current FIA regs.

For its part, Red Bull Racing denies any wrongdoing, but both McLaren and Mercedes-Benz – two of Red Bull’s main rivals this season, along with Ferrari – have lodged complaints encouraging the FIA to investigate the equipment being used in the RB6. Conflicting reports from Switzerland and Germany differ on whether such an investigation is currently underway, but we could be looking at the latest “gate” affair to rock the paddock.

  • TouchXperience releases everything except the UI

We have seen many new UI’s come these last couple of years, but TouchXperiance’s version was one of my favorites. The UI was colorful, fast, smooth, functional, but that is not what this post is about. TouchXperiance released quite a bit of new software earlier this week, and here are some of the new apps:

    Time Synchronizer

Time Synchronizer allows you to sychronize your device clock with an Internet time server (using SNTP, Daytime Protocol and Time Protocol via TCP/UDP), but also with GPS satellites and cellular network. It is very easy to use: tap an icon to retreive time from the desired source, then tap Synchronize to adjust your system time. Time Synchronizer supports time zones, the time displayed is your local time. You can use any Internet time server, there are predefined addresses of well-known servers. Not all time servers support Daytime Protocol and Time Protocol, SNTP is more accurate.

    To Do:
Time synchronization via HTTP, if it is reliable enough (usefull for 3G connections on limited data plans).
    File Editor

File Editor is a simple but useful file editor, allowing you to create and open any type of file. File Editor supports text files but you can also edit any file with the included hexadecimal editor. Later, File Editor may come with new features for a full script editor.

    To Do:
    Hexadecimal editor
    Script editor
    Integration in File Explorer
    TouchPaint

TouchPaint is similar to Microsoft Paint but designed to use with fingers or stylus, allowing you to create drawings or edit images. It supports Bitmap, JPEG, PNG and GIF image formats. You can use different kinds of tools/shapes (pen, brush, eraser, line, rectangle, triangle,…) with any color. It may be useful for example to draw a sketch when you don’t have a sheet of paper with you, to draw a diagram and send it via e-mail, or simply to amuse children.

    To Do:
    Nice graphic tool bar
    Variable image size
    Photo edition tools
    Optimized rendering
    Capture Tool

Capture Tool is an advanced screen capturing utility for Windows Mobile, you can take screenshots using triggers (hardware keys or sensors) or timers (you can enable vibrations to know exactly when the screenshot will be taken). Capture Tool can take several screenshots at regular interval, it supports BMP, JPEG, PNG and GIF image formats, you can also choose the window or the screen area to capture, and the image size. Once the screen is captured, you can send the screenshot directly by e-mail, and in the future version you could edit and add notes to screen captures.

  • Zesty Lemon-Lime Seafood Salad with Homemade Salsa

seafoodsaladFor most people, the word “salad” brings to mind a simple bowl of lettuce drizzled in dressing. As we suspected, however, you all are not most people. The dozens of salad recipes pouring in for the Primal Blueprint Cookbook Contest have proven you’re a bold bunch when it comes to salad-making and your creative combinations have been inspiring and mouth-watering.

This open-minded approach to salad is exactly what we loved about Michelle DeLorenzo’s Lemon-Lime Seafood Salad.  She made seafood the star, bedded it on a layer of dark greens and avocado and got rid of dressing entirely in favor of a zesty salsa.

Michelle admits this is her favorite salad not only because it’s a flavorful protein boost, but also because she loves making people at work jealous with her salad creations. “It encourages them to make salads for lunch themselves,” she explains, “instead of hitting the truly frightening cafeteria.”

The seafood in Michelle’s salad has a fresh, light flavor from lemon and herbs, and a spicy kick from red pepper flakes and Tabasco. Sort of like ceviche, except for the seafood is fully cooked. The easiest cooking method for the shrimp and scallops in the salad is a quick sauté in oil or butter. As for the crab, fresh, cooked crabmeat can be bought at the seafood counter and is the most flavorful, but also the most expensive. Pasteurized, canned crab meat is usually less expensive, but some brands have a flavor that is a little fishy. Just make sure you don’t use imitation crab, which really isn’t crab at all.

The salsa Michelle uses as a dressing is a straightforward blend of tomato, garlic, onion and cilantro, but roasting the tomatoes beforehand gives the salsa a richer flavor than simply using raw tomatoes. Roasting is also a good way to coax flavor out of tomatoes that aren’t quite in season yet.

The seafood combination in this salad tastes decadent but not heavy, the salsa is fresh and lively, and a garnish of creamy avocado sends the flavor combination right over the top. Luckily, Michelle’s recipe serves four, so you just might have enough to share with those jealous co-workers…

    Servings: 4

    Salad Ingredients:

    saladingredients

    • 1/2 pound cooked lump crabmeat (or lobster meat)
    • 1/2 pound cooked shrimp
    • 1/2 pound cooked sea scallops
    • 1 tablespoon of chopped fresh tarragon
    • 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
    • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
    • Tabasco sauce, to taste
    • Salt to taste
    • 2 avocados
    • Your favorite greens

    Salsa Ingredients:

    salsaingredients

    • 1 medium onion, chopped
    • 2 1/2 cups coarsely chopped roasted tomatoes
    • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
    • 1/4 cup coarsely chopped cilantro
    • 2 tablespoons lime juice
    • 1 teaspoon olive oil
    • Salt to taste
    • To spice it up, add hot sauce or finely chopped jalapeno to taste

    Instructions:

In a medium bowl, combine seafood, tarragon, lemon juice, red pepper flakes and Tabasco sauce and place in the refrigerator to chill.

    seafoodmixture

Combine all the salsa ingredients. For a chunky salsa, stir the ingredients in a bowl. For a smooth salsa, blend in the blender. Letting the salsa sit for awhile helps the flavors blend.

    salsa

**The salsa can be made with raw tomatoes, but if you’d like to roast them for more flavor start by preheating the oven to 375-400 degrees. Slice each tomato in half and drizzle with olive oil. Roast for at least1 hour, until tomatoes are soft. Longer roasting evaporates some of the moisture and intensifies the flavor.

Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and gently scoop the meat out of the shells keeping the shape intact. Slice each avocado half into thin slices.

Place your greens of choice in four bowls and top with 1/4 of the seafood mixture, 1/4 of the salsa and fan the avocado slices on top. Delicious!
