Grade Rubric is a useful app for professors and teachers who grade papers and assignment using rubrics. If you can break an assignment up into categories of things you’re looking for, you simply grade each category and Grade Rubric handles the rest. It even has an option to auto-generate a detailed grade report for your students.

Quick Look: Grade Ticker (Video Demo)
Grade Ticker is a simple, but incredibly useful app for professors and teachers. Leave it open next to you as you grade an exam and tally the point deductions as you go. Eliminating the need to go back and do the math after each exam really starts to add up when you have 90+ students. That’s where this app really starts to save you time.

Download files for offline viewing – Add files to ‘Favorites’ and they’ll be accessible at any time.
Upload files and sync them to your Dropbox – Take a photo, shoot a video, or
upload some audio from your Android phone and email its public link to a friend in less than a minute.Share links to files in your Dropbox – Yes! Any file in your Dropbox!

Android Market for Business to Launch Next Week? Doubtful
ZDNet reports that Google may launch an Android Market for business, and highlights some potential benefits for Android developers. A market that targets businesses may yield better results for developers because businesses that use apps to make money might be more willing to shell out money for an app than your average Android consumer. What’s as interesting is that, according the Mashable story that ZDnet links to, it looks like a large part of the vision for this new market is that it be well integrated with Google Apps. As Mashable notes, this “would give third-party apps and developers the opportunity to sell their software to customers of Google Apps. This included options for increasing security, word-processing and information porting/syncing.”
(NOTE: The ZDNet article says this is a new Android Market, but the Mashable article they link to does not mention Android. I assume it’s a safe assumption that if one does come about, this new market will integrate with Android. However, nothing in the Mashable text suggests this.)

In this video, I demo it and show how simple it is to use. There is one minor bug, and I show you why it’s not a big deal. I also give you some tips for scanning pages from books. Check the link below the video, and you’ll find a sample PDF that I created with this precious app.Click here to view the embedded video.
