  • 2010 Aston Martin ON ICE Winter Driving Course Kicks-Off

    The second edition of the Aston Martin ON ICE winter driving course kicked-off today, after the positive feedback received last year from customers, and the number of driving days was further increased. 150 customers from 14 countries are traveling to the Swiss ski resort St. Moritz this year to attend the event.

    According to Aston Martin, the participants come from countries such as Great Britain, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, Norway, Canada and even Singapore.

  • Mopar to Showcase Mobile TV at the 2010 Chicago Auto Show

    American carmaker Chrysler announced today its automobile parts and service arm, Mopar, will be showcasing live, mobile TV technology at the upcoming Chicago Auto Show. Chrysler is the first automaker in the United States to offer this kind of service to consumers, with up to 20 channels available through FLO TV Auto Entertainment.

  • Claudio Scajola Admits Offers for Fiat Plant Exist

    Sergio Marchionne’s decision to shut down production at Fiat’s Termini Imerese factory in Sicily seems to have serious repercussions, as both the Fiat Unions and the Italian government are disgruntled.

    As a response to the factory’s complete shut down, the unions launched strikes in Fiat plants across the country. The automaker has serious arguments for closing the plant and moving the Lancia Ypsilon production to Poland. According to the company, no less than 1,000 Euros are lost per car.

    The North American division of Subaru recently announced pricing details on the 2010 Impreza WRX Limited Models, which was first introduced at the 2009 Los Angeles Auto Show.

  • Russian Automotive Market Contracted by 50 % in 2009

    Russia’s automotive market has contracted by almost 50 percent in 2009, only managing to total 1.36 million units, as the Jato Dynamics market analysis company informs us.

    After over the weekend bmGerman carmaker BMW released full details and photos of the facelifted version of the X5, a video showing the X5 in action has now also been made available.

  • BYD Auto to Build Plant in Malaysia

    Chinese carmaker BYD Auto Company has announced its intention to build a production site in Malaysia in order to be able to enter the foreign right hand drive passenger car markets, as Bernama reports.
