Anyone of you on the U.A.E forums own a Chevy ? I have recently purchased a 2007 Chevy Caprice. The car has a built in Nav system which has not been enabled. The only way to get the system working is to go to Liberty autos and a get a nav disc and install it.
So, I went to Liberty today and they said the Nav disc would cost me around AED 5,700.00 and .. to be quite honest, its a lot of money for a disc.. 🙂
I searched the internet, found a site selling GM nav discs (www.gmnavdisc.com). They have a chevy logo, so I’m guessing the GM discs would work with a Chevy Caprice, as they do work with a Chevy Tahoe, Avalanche… but then again, the Chevy caprice is made in Australia and has not been launched in the North American market..
But if there is another way to work around and get the disc somehow,,, please advise .. 🙂
