I can code just fine, so I prefer the older meters with cheaper strips. I use a Flash and it’s been good.

How is a Freedom different? Just bigger numbers?

Does anyone ever radically adjust Lantus doses to cover occasional large post meal changes? I assume not.

But, how about when you are higher for a few days because of illness? Do you adjust then?

ALSO, when you guys get a cold/cough how much higher do your numbers get. Mine this week are terrible!

On flights, I checked my bag a few times lately with Lantus in it.
My numbers seem higher than normal, so I wonder if I need to up dosage because the Lantus was damaged.

Does anyone have any real world experience with the effectiveness being reduced by having been cold?
