I don’t know what Lynn Woolsey is really thinking, but the leadership of the House progressive caucus should not be helping the entire party walk the bloody plank towards a fascist form of health insurance without a care in the world.
The very least she can do is step aside for someone who will stand for the party platform and insist the President keep his campaign promise of no mandates and a public option.
If not, I can’t help thinking the primary deadline may have passed, but it is not at all too late for an Independent to step in, because there are going to be a lot of pissed off, pro-choice women in Marin County.

It’s been nearly two years since I posted what may be my favorite Late Late Night youtube of all time. I’ve been listening to it quite a bit as of late and had to share it once again.
Patti Smith recites the Declaration of Independence with German subtitles in an inspired forceful manner as an indictment of George W. Bush. Anklage von George W. Bush!
So tweet me when the revolution begins, twitter.com/eurekasprings. Patti has our script.
Update: Firedog Edward Teller has completed and posted his first draft of the final movement to his orchestral work, Hindu Kush. Listen to it here.
