Hello to all the moderators responsible for helping to run this great forum. I had a not so original idea after being in the skybar section. It has probably been asked for before and probably the response was that we don’t need one, but I would give it another shot.

After spending too much time for my own good in the news section I noticed many people wanted to debate each other on different topics and ideas without disrupting the original rules set by Tubeman. I think the skybar section needs a "Debating Forum" sub-forum with certain common sense rules that allow people to express their views on subjects that may or may not be related to news.

Ex: Do UFOs exist?, Is Bigfoot real?, Global Warming debate, 2012 ect…

From personal experience, such forums grow really quickly and are popular with members. I know this is a skyscraper forum and I am happy about sharing my opinions on different breathtaking structures, but some people wouldn’t mind having a little friendly debate with their co-forumers on different topics.

I know this has been asked before since the board is old enough to have went through this stage, but wanted to see if there is any availability for a new addition that can add a level of opinion combined with having a good time and sharing different views respectfully.

I wanted to see what administrators and moderators think of the not so original idea and contemplate if its creation would be a good addition to the Skybar forum.

I know this isn’t a big deal, but since Dubai is on almost every newspaper and all over TV. I think it is time to change/update some of the old pictures on Wikipedia. For example when you go to wikipedia the first thing you see about Dubai is the skyline of Dubai 2-3 years ago. The Burj Dubai and Dubai Marina pictures should also be updated. Since I am not so good at changing pictures or editing anything on wiki, does anybody want to take up the challenge of editing the pictures and putting something awesome and beautiful instead of pictures from 2-3 years ago? Maybe adding something unique to the picture mix?

We have countless beautiful recent pictures from dedicated forumers that we can use to update the wiki page for people to see the full scale and scope of Dubai as it is today.

Anyways I probably shouldn’t have posted this here, but just wondering what your opinions on the subject are…
