Good news for a change!
Hurray! For the past 3 days I’ve been having good blood sugar levels without medication. first it was 130 then the second day it went up to an elevated 153, and today it’s 113 or something like that. I’m really happy right now. -
Me Again
It’s Me Again. I have found that my Blood Glucose is at an alarming high. Today it was 212 after breakfast and 252 after dinner.Mind you, I just found out I have type 2 diabetes about 2 to 3 weeks ago. I just started doing the test about a week ago. The average has dropped slowly but not a significant drop.
I have been limiting my diet to about 50 carbs per meal, and walking everyday for 30 minutes as the nutritionist told me.
Is the blood glucose going to slowly lower day by day? Or is this something that should be immediate? I’m unsure as to what’s going on with this. I am doing the cinnamon with some sugar free apple cider mix.
Basically, when you first find out about this and start changing your lifestyle for the better, should you see immediate results in blood glucose levels? Or does it take time for it to get into the proper range?

A question about blood glucose
I’m rather new here so please bear with me.I found out I had type 2 diabetes about a month ago or so I’m honestly unsure of the exact date. But I couldn’t afford the blood testing supplies till recently. So I just started the testing and my fasting blood glucose level was 212. I am doing this without medication simply because I can’t afford it. So I am trying to control it with exercise and eating right. Should my blood levels be normalized immediately upon trying to eat right and exercise? Or is this going to be a slow process day by day it gets better?
Thanks in advance for any help you all can offer.
