Just had my results of my 3rd a1c and it’s 5.5% and avg sugar was 97! That’s really good, Dr said! Especially since I was recently dx’d in June 2009 and I only take 1000 mg Metformin daily. Almost makes me wonder if I am truly diabetic like dr said because I cheat, probably every day I don’t eat "GREAT" but I try to do good. Maybe it’s just a good thing, who knows?!

Odd question
Okay so this question might be kind of odd to ask but it’s something I am curious about. If you eat something that is slight sugary and you try things out and it doesn’t affect your sugar at all and it seems to be okay, does it still affect your body and organs on the inside? The way I see it, or the way I think is that if you eat something that some diabetics can’t without it making their sugar sky rocket, and it doesnt affect my sugar does that make it okay to have? I worry about it being okay for the time being and not affecting my numbers but what about long term as far as damage to kidneys or such? Still new to this so I am learning, thanks in advance for your answers 🙂
