Chicago, IL—On Tuesday, March 9, State Sen. Dan Kotowski (D-Park Ridge) received a Richard N. Rovner Epilepsy Hero Award from the Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Chicago.
The Epilepsy Foundation chose to honor Kotowski for his years of advocacy for the epilepsy community. Kotowski, who has epilepsy himself, is a member of the Foundation Board and a visible spokesperson for others who suffer from the disorder.
