Mark Fried visits a makeshift settlement that has recently sprung up on an abandoned golf course just outside Port-au-Prince. Once an elite leisure facility, the greens are now serving as a fully functioning town for survivors of the Haiti earthquake, complete with its own shops, hairdressers and water supply.
