i have just notched up 12 months without listening to the radio in my car. (BBC, TWIT and NPR Podcasts, audiobooks and music ONLY).
i cannot remember the last time i watched news or "current affairs" on television – must be in the 5-6 year range now…
it is amazing that despite this "terrible" heatwave in Melbourne that I have not felt hot. i contend that it is because i have not listened to any of the media morons talk about "how hot it is!!!" etc.
and now that that palin creature has joined fox broadcasting it just goes to show that, unsatisfied with their already outlandishly egregious behavior, they are willing to push the envelope even further. and people will come. and people will believe.
people are freely going to see a movie made by these murdoch people and are giving him more money and encouragement… c’mon.
the same goes for the poor people who are being told to live by the ADA recommendations.
it is time for us to stop listening, stop being told what to think and to start thinking for ourselves…
that. in a nutshell. is my new promise to myself. anyone else?
