I am brand new and newly diagnosed the beginning of Jan. I have been doing well and lost 18lbs already. However, I am having a hard time with what to eat so I haven’t been eating much and I am getting hungry. When I look up recipes and snack ideas for diabetics they seem to still have a lot of carbs. For instance they suggested an apple for a snack..I was told by my dietician that you shouldn’t have a whole apple because of the carbs. Any good snack ideas out there? Or good websites to get ideas from would be helpful.
