I only managed to visit this wonderful place once in 2006 while up for an interview at uni. By the time I actually went up to study in Newcastle it had been closed down. Having a strange interest in 1970’s architecture and all things indoor market I thought it a real shame as I never really got to look right around it properly.
Does anyone have any photos of the place? I would especially like to see what was at the side of the market, am I right in remembering there were a row of shops opposite the market indoor entrance?
