Since there has been a few reports in the Honiton area recently and as i live near by i thought I’d go check out the area and see if i could see or capture anything after an hour in the area nothing i took some photos up the roundball and caught something unexplainable JPG. attached. it was a 2 discs i saw them briefly with my naked eye zoom across the sky. I’m going to try and get a web cam set up there asap.

The scientist at the centre of the “climategate” email scandal has revealed that he was so traumatised by the global backlash against him that he contemplated suicide.

Professor Phil Jones said in an exclusive interview with the Sunday Times that he had thought about killing himself “several times”. He acknowledged similarities to Dr David Kelly, the scientist who committed suicide after being exposed as the source for a BBC report that alleged the government had “sexed up” evidence to justify the invasion of Iraq.

In emails that were hacked into and seized upon by global-warming sceptics before the Copenhagen climate summit in December, Jones appeared to call upon his colleagues to destroy scientific data rather than release it to people intent on discrediting their work monitoring climate change.

Jones, 57, said he was unprepared for the scandal: “I am just a scientist. I have no training in PR or dealing with crises.”

You’d probably have to be reading the news to know about it, because no one that I know is experiencing the effects, and economic indicators that affect people without stock portfolios don’t seem to indicate that anything is getting better. They’re not the consumer product manufacturers who co-opt our messaging and repackage the same old junk with green labels. Biochemist Nick Lane thinks so. The University College London writer and his colleagues argue that the 81-year-old notion just doesn’t hold water.

Lane tells NPR’s Guy Raz there’s another possible explanation for the emergence of life. But before we get to that, why toss out the soup theory?
