Does anyone know how to clear the data out of the Ultra2? I don’t need the software and cable as I created a spreadsheet that tracks and graphs my test results. Just curious if anyone knows a trick on the Ultra2:o

I am a recently diagnosed Type2 (1 month ago) and I am on a slew of meds: Metformin 500mg x 2, Lisinopril 5mg x 1, Pioglitazone Hydrochlorid 45mg x 1. I was on Metformin 500mg x 3 which was causing severe diarrhea so the doc took me down to 2 each day and added the Pioglitazone.

How is everyone dealing with this medication mix? Anything I need to be aware of? Things to look out for like other side affects?

The mix seems to be working along with a good diet but my daily levels are still not down anywhere they need to be (avg 200).

Hi everyone! Santa left me a unfortunate present this year and that was the Type II diagnosis. I am struggling with this after a month but slowly (ever so slowly) getting my head wrapped around the life style change and the impact of being diabetic. I will be thoroughly reading the forum over the next couple of days to get all the great tips and tricks to this new life that I am most sure many of you have out there.

It is truly wonderful to see a forum like this as I am in a unique situation overseas that makes support and treatment somewhat challenging. So again, I hope to learn from you all!
