Hi, so have been on the pump now for about 2 weeks. So, does anyone use the front of the thigh, anyone not use belly and only legs? How can I rotate thta? Also, can I go in the hot tub? Will the tape come off or not be secure? How can I prevent that? We are taking a train for 24 hours to Florida, do I neeed special Dr notes or something to carry the supplies that I will need and the shots, in case of emergency? still so aware, I know that I need to relax with all of this, but hard to go away, nonetheless, being so new with the pump, not complaining just saying!any suggestions will be greatly appreciated, thanks so much in advance for all of your help and support, could not do this without you!! Hi, So, tonight third time putting set on…Hated it on lower belly, got 3 no delivery beepings, medtronics wanted mre to pull it out and try again, didn t do that, started working again….got lucky…On thigh for first time and using 40 and not 23 inch tubing….So question, anyone use the plastic…c something,the part that shoots in with the inserter or do people use the metal needle at the cite…and how is is having the needle stay in you??Also when do I finally know how to use this pump well. Graduated pump school and watched the video, always forgetting a step or two.Stiil new, afraid pump will fly out, when do things become normal again….do not know if it ever were….many thanks….

So, just approved, getting a pump. Have many questions, think it is called the Paradigm….please if anyone can give me any insight, and pearls of wisdom would greatly appreciate that. I swim all summer, will I be able to continue to do that? This is so scarry, ready for challenge….but petrified of the unknown, and additional pain. Also, in the evening I take different insulin, that mean I still have to shoot that one up?. Is the glucose moniter accurate,? thanks so much in advance for all insight….I could use some help…thanks …
