I started using insulin about 1 month and a week. Before that was using Galvus Met 850+50 2x a day. The initial insulin dosis was only 10U NPH at bedtime + 1 mg Met 2x a day. Now I’m taking 30U NPH in the morning and 22U NPH at bedtime + 2x 1g Met. No rebound detected.
My fasting reading was 220 before insulin therapy, and now it’s about 180!
100g carbs a day diet…
The doc said that I have to increase 1U NPH each day (bedtime) until I get a 120 fasting reading.
What do you think about that?
Maybe my insulin resistency is too strong?
