  • Russell Brand, Kardashians Flirt on Chelsea Lately

Even when Chelsea Handler isn’t hosting her late night E! talk show, Chelsea Lately, the interviews still seem to become a bit raunchy. The three famed Kardashian sisters (Kim, Klohe, and Kourtney) took over the talk show this week, and were propelled into the kinky fantasies of Russel Brand.

The sisters started off complimenting Brand on his accent, then moved to teasing the comedian when he stumbled over their names. The talk quickly turned sexual, however, when Brand suggested he was “vulnerable to the concept” of a threesome between the Kardashian sisters.

Khloe happily played along, saying, “Well, I heard pregnant pussy is the best pussy.” She was referring, of course, to the fact that Kim is currently pregnant with R&B star Kanye West’s baby.

Brand continued the flirtation saying, “I think pregnant women are radiant and beautiful, and the idea of lactation is an interesting one.”

Not to be outdone, Khloe topped Brand by revealing some very personal things about herself and her sisters.

“You have the best of both worlds, ’cause Kourtney is lactating and Kim is pregnant,” said Khloe. “And I am just, like, ‘raging waters.’ It’s just happy over here.”

  • 4-Year-Old Shoots 6-Year-Old in New Jersey

This week, a six-year-old in New Jersey died after being shot by a four-year-old neighbor. According to a report from New York ABC station WABC, Brandon Holt of Toms River, New Jersey died after being shot in the head with a .22-caliber rifle.

Holt was playing in a four-year-old neighbor’s yard when the four-year-old found the rifle inside his house. The gun is reported to have accidentally fired and hit Holt from 15 yards away. Police have stated that the four-year-old’s parents were also in the yard. Holt was taken to Jersey Shore Medical Center, where he later died from his wounds.

Toms River police are still investigating and have not released any further details about the incident, including information on how the four-year-old may have obtained the rifle.

  • Playboy Bunny House Up For Sale: $11 Million

Looking to live in the Playboy Mansion? You can’t. However, a piece of L.A. real estate just went up for sale that could offer Playboy fans a chance to run into Hugh Hefner while getting their mail. Though it’s not the Playboy Mansion itself, it very well could be the next best thing.

TMZ is reporting that the famed ‘Playboy Bunny house’ is now up for sale. The abode is located directly across the street from the larger and more infamous Playboy Mansion in the Holmby Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles. The house is 6,690 square-feet and includes 5 bedrooms, and 6 and a half bathrooms. The place also, of course, has a whale-shaped pool with an “oasis waterfall.”

  • Jay-Z to Sell Nets to Expand Sports Rep Business

Rapper/producer Jay-Z owns a portion of the Brooklyn Nets. However, Jay-Z this year launched a new sports representation venture called Roc Nation Sports. This could become a conflict of intrest if the rapper were to ever represent NBA players.

Yahoo Sports is reporting that Jay-Z is now looking to sell off his share of the Nets to expand Roc Nation into representing basketball players. The NBA Players Association requires that certified agents not be owners of any NBA team.

Jay-Z founded Roc Nation in early April, and he is rumored to be planning on becoming a certified sports agent. The agency has already signed New York Yankees second baseman Robinson Canó.

The report cites unnamed sources as saying Jay-Z’s sell-off should be complete in time for Roc Nation to sign players in the NBA draft this June. The sources also mentioned that other sports agents are becoming “anxious,” believing that Jay-Z’s fame and marketing resources could lue players to Roc Nation.

  • ‘Breastaurant’ Trademark Registered by Texas Sports Bar

Restaurants in which the waitresses wear skimpy outfits have been the norm in the U.S. for decades. Now, one Texas sports bar has taken the moniker “breastaurant” and made it its own.

Doug Guller, the founder and CEO of Bikinis Sports Bar & Grill, this month trademarked the word “breastaurant” through the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. The Texas restaurant chain has long billed itself as “America’s Only Sports Breastaurant” but has now made the designation official.

“We’re really excited about receiving this federal trademark,” said Guller. “Our team has worked hard over the last seven years to offer a unique experience to our fans. It just further solidifies that Bikinis Sports Bar & Grill is America’s ONLY ‘breastaurant.’”

Bikinis offers the standard spread of sports bar fare, such as chicken wings, burgers, nachos, and a variety of beers. The catch is that all of their waitresses dress in cowboy boots, short jean shorts, and bikini tops. The restaurant even sells a yearly bikini calendar featuring its waitresses.

This isn’t the first time Guller has used naming to gain publicity. Last year he purchased the ghost town of Bankersmith, Texas on Craigslist and renamed the location to Bikinis, Texas. Guller has stated that he intends to turn the town’s empty post office building into a Bikinis hall of fame.

  • Obama BB Gun Suspect Arrested in Bloomfield, CT

Pulling out a gun, even a fake one, within sight of the president of the United States is a sure-fire way to get arrested, and a probable way to ensure an even worse outcome. Luckily for one man who pulled out a BB gun near President Obama this week, the incident did not end with Secret Service agents gunning him down.

According to an Associated Press report, a man in Bloomfield, Connecticut pulled out a rifle-sized BB gun on Monday as the presidential motorcade passed by. President Obama had just given a speech about gun control at the University of Hartford, and was on the way back to Bradley International Airport to board Air Force One.

The man was reportedly pacing back and forth while acting suspicious. He was arrested by police as soon as he pulled out the gun. The man’s name has not been released, though he was scheduled for a court hearing in Hartford on Tuesday.

Hartford is less than 50 miles from the site of the Newtown mass shooting that took place at Sandy Hook Elementary School last December.

  • Rihanna, Chris Brown Break Up, Again

It appears that R&B stars Rihanna‘s and Chris Brown‘s on again, off again relationship is off. Again.

According to an E! news report, Rihanna has moved on from the relationship to pursue her career intrests. According to TMZ, Chris Brown has moved onto wooing an L.A. waitress, though the woman denies getting between Brown and Rihanna.

The relationship woes between Brown and Rihanna date back to 2009, when Brown was arrested and convicted of beating Rihanna. Pictures of Rihanna’s battered face turned Brown’s public perception negative – a backlash that still hasn’t fully subsided. Despite being the butt of sharp jokes since the incident, the singer has continued his career and recently appeared on the Today Show to promote a new music video. During the appearance, Brown admitted that beating Rihanna “was totally wrong.”

Rihanna is currently touring throughout the U.S., having recently gotten over a show-stopping bout of Laryngitis in Boston. The singer will also be making a cameo in the summer comedy This is the End, in which she smacks a drunk Michael Cera for touching her ass.

  • 2 Navy Divers Drowned in Aberdeen “Super Pond”

It’s a given that joining the military can mean putting one’s life in danger. However, that danger isn’t generally assumed to be great while training on home soil.

Two U.S. Navy divers recently proved that even training is dangerous, and even fatal, as they drowned while training in a Maryland test pond. According to a Baltimore Sun report, Diver 1st Class James Reyher and Diver 2nd Class Ryan Harris accidentally drowned at a test pond at the Aberdeen Proving Ground in February. Details of the incident have not been released.

Another soldier, an engineering technician, also died at the test pond in January while performing maintenance. The facility has now been closed indefinitely.

The pool where the soldiers drowned is, according to the Sun, also known as the “Super Pond.” The structure is 1,070 feet long and 150 feet deep. It is used by the U.S. Defense Department and researchers for training and to test the effects of explosives on marine vessels.

The investigations of the soldiers’ deaths are still ongoing, and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has stated that more information about the incidents could be released in the future, when the office issues its final report.

  • Trump Booed Off Stage at WWE Hall of Fame Induction

Donald Trump may have the power to fire celebrities and the money to erect buildings, but all the money in the world can’t buy respect from wrestling fans.

This week, Trump was booed off stage while accepting his induction into the WWE Hall of Fame at Madison Square Garden. According to a report from Wrestling Online, the heckling during Trump’s speech was so bad that the business mogul cut it short and left the stage.

The booing had reportedly started even before Trump took the stage, with WWE CEO Vince McMahon trying to calm the crowd while introducing Trump, stating that he was a “big friend” of the WWE. Trump’s son, Donald Tump, Jr. was also reportedly booed, though his daughter, Ivanka, was cheered by WWE fans.

Trump took to Twitter after the incident, thanking McMahon and answering at a few of his detractors:

  • Jane Fonda: Not Afraid of Dying and Still Into Sex

Actress Jane Fonda’s career has spanned four decades and has had plenty of ups and downs. Fonda’s acting career exploded as she took the role of 60s sex symbol Barbarella, and she quickly became famous for her anti-war activism, her workout tapes, and her three marriages (including one to media mogul Ted Turner).

While looking back on her turbulent life, Fonda this week sat down with Oprah Winfrey on the show Oprah’s Next Chapter. In particular, Fonda addressed her 2010 breast cancer diagnosis, stating that she is not afraid of dying.

“A couple of years ago I got breast cancer, and that was a good test because I always said, ‘I’m not afraid of dying,’” said Fonda. “And I wasn’t.”

Fonda went on to discuss how women’s sex lives can improve with age, her black daughter, and how she looks back on her lifetime of accomplishments.

“I’m old, and I feel really young,” said Fonda.

  • Joel Osteen: Hoax Hasn’t Upset Him, “Nothing Has Changed”

Earlier this week, a late April Fool’s hoax made its debut, alleging that popular U.S. pastor Joel Osteen had renounced Christianity. Osteen is the pastor of a mega-church in Houston, Texas, and has a worldwide broadcast ministry that has made him one of the most recognizable Christian figures in the U.S.

The elaborate hoax involved a fake blog, YouTube videos, and a fake Twitter account (which has now been suspended) that laid out the fake Osteen’s reasoning for no longer believing in Christianity. From the fake blog:

I believe now that the Bible is a fallible, flawed, highly inconsistent history book that has been altered hundreds of times. There is zero evidence the Bible is the holy word of God. In fact, there is zero evidence “God” even exists.

Though Osteen and his ministry have not officially acknowledged the hoax, Osteen gave an interview to ABC and confirmed that he is still a Christian.

“All is well,” said Osteen. “I still have my faith, nothing has changed.”

Osteen also stated that he isn’t upset about the hoax, and that it is somewhat amusing.

“I’m really not angry,” said Osteen. “I don’t feel like a victim. I feel too blessed that life is too short to let things like this get you down.”

  • Kanye West Sued Over ‘Gold Digger’ Sample

As Kanye West prepares to become a parent and expends his mental energy on crafting joke names for his progeny, he certainly doesn’t have time to go to court over one of his biggest hit songs.

TMZ is reporting that a lawsuit has been filed over West’s 2005 hit ‘Gold Digger’. The lawsuit claims that West sampled a small portion of a 1974 Thunder & Lightning song titled ‘Bumpin’ Bus Stop’. Thunder & Lightning singer David Pryor wrote and sang the song, and now his children are suing West for his use of the sample. Trena Steward and Lorenzo Pryor are suing for money and an injunction on sales of ‘Gold Digger’.

The sample in question comes from the beginning of ‘Gold Digger’. As West is saying “Get down girl, go ‘head, get down,” a voice in the background can be heard saying “get down” repeatedly. Steward and Pryor claim this is sampled from ‘Bumpin’ Bus Stop.’ The sample comes in at around the 33-second mark in the ‘Gold Digger’ video below:

Record producer and sound engineer Andy Johns has died at the age of 61.

The cause of Johns’ death has not been made public, though a Billboard report quotes guitarist Stacy Blades as saying Johns was hospitalized last week for “liver trouble.”

Johns began his career in 1969, when he engineered and produced the Jethro Tull album Stand Up. He went on to produce dozens of albums throughout the 70s, 80s, 90s, and 00s, including albums from the band Free. During the 70s, Johns engineered some of the most well known albums from Led Zeppelin and the Rolling Stones, including Led Zeppelin II, Led Zeppelin III, Led Zeppelin IV, Houses of the Holy, Sticky Fingers, Exile on Main St., and It’s Only Rock ‘n’ Roll. Johns also engineered albums from Joni Mitchell and Eric Clapton.

    Ouch.
So sad to hear of the passing of Andy Johns …
    great record producer.
Lovely guy – patient, skilled, funny, encouraging, sharp …
all the qualities you want in someone who is getting your music on to tape.

I remember him as one of the Olympic Studios team in Barnes …
playing around with varying tape speeds and early phasing … with George Chiantz …

He went on to become one of the very top rock producers in the world.

Condolences to all the family. Andy was such a great guy.

    RIP.

    Bri

Other rock stars have added their tributes to the internet, building the consensus that Johns was one of the best sound engineers in the world.

  • Joe Montana’s Son Tries Out For the NFL

It can be hard following for children following in the footsteps of a parent. However, when that parent is NFL legend Joe Montana, following in his footsteps could be all but impossible. Not that Nate Montana isn’t trying.

According to an NFL.com report, Nate Montana was part of the NFL Super Regional Combine this week at Cowboys Stadium in Dallas. Unfortunately, analysts are calling Nate a “long shot” who has a “weak throwing arm.”

Nate Montana went to Notre Dame, his father’s alma mater, in 2008 and joined the football team as a walk-on. The quarterback found himself lacking in play time, and transferred to Pasadena City College in 2009, where he red-shirted for one year. He went back to Notre Dame in 2010, before transferring twice more, to the University of Montana in 2011 and West Virginia Wesleyan in 2012.

During his year with West Virginia Wesleyan, Nate racked up 2480 passing yards and 19 touchdowns with the Division II program. As slim as his chances are of making a career in the NFL, it’s clear that his passions lie in football.

  • Michael J. Fox on His Career, His Family, and a Sense of Humor

Over a decade after Spin City ended its five-year run, Michael J. Fox is coming back to network TV. Last fall, NBC announced that it had picked up a new network comedy starring Michael J. Fox. The actor will star in a role that mirrors his own life, including his Parkinson’s Disease.

Fox took to the pages of the latest issue of AARP The Magazine to reveal where he’s at in life, his marriage, and his struggles with his disease.

“I’m always aware that there are others who don’t feel so good and can’t express themselves the way I can,” Fox told the AARP. “That’s no small factor in the way I’ve been able to deal with this.”

Fox stated that his sense of humor has been paramount to dealing with his long-term condition, but that it is sometimes a struggle. He and his wife, Tracy Pollan, have four children, who are learning early the virtue of patience.

“Sometimes the kids will need their dad’s help and he’ll say, ‘I’m not feeling great right now,’” said Pollan. “But on the flip side, the first thing he does is go back to the kids when he’s feeling good. It teaches them patience and empathy.”

On playing a role that is so similar to his own life, Fox mused that his Parkinson’s is too far progressed to ignore, saying, “It’s too difficult to hide it. I could manage it for a scene or so, but it would fall apart over time. As long as I play a guy with Parkinson’s, I can do anything.”

  • ‘Cookie Monster’ Arrested For Pushing a Two-Year-Old

Cookie Monster is well-known to have an obsession (addiction?) to cookies, but it seems that the blue Sesame Street character can also become a bit belligerent when he doesn’t get paid.

According to a New York Post report, a man dressed as Cookie Monster in Times Square assaulted a two-year-old boy this weekend.

The man, named Osvaldo Quiroz-Lopez, is reported to have posed for a picture with the child and then pressured the boy’s mother for two dollars (for cookies, presumably). According to police, when the mother refused to tip, the man “cursed her” and pushed the boy to the ground. Quiroz-Lopez was arrested on charges of reckless endangerment and endangering the welfare of a child.

This isn’t the first time costumed characters have run afoul of the law in New York City. In December 2012, a man dressed as the video game character Mario in Times Square was arrested for placing his hand on a woman’s thigh. In June 2012, a man named Adam Sandler (not that Adam Sandler) was arrested while wearing an Elmo costume and going on an anti-Semitic tirade in Central Park.

After leaving Disney, Funicello went on to star in several Beach Party movies, including Beach Party, Bikini Beach, Pajama Party, and How to Stuff a Wild Bikini.

  • Dennis Rodman Fired From Celebrity Apprentice

On last week’s Celebrity Apprentice, Donald Trump spared Dennis Rodman because of the redemption story forming around the athlete, and fired reality star Omarosa Manigault instead. This week, the basketball star was back in the boardroom, but didn’t fare quite as well with Trump as he did last week.

Rodman, as the leader of a team tasked with creating a promotion for a beauty product, was pulled into the boardroom with country music singer Trace Adkins. At issue during the boardroom meeting was a misspelling on an ad Rodman’s team published. In the end, Trump brought up the fact that Rodman has been in the boardroom multiple times, though the business mogul did say he was “proud” of Rodman.

Rodman is now the sixth celebrity to have been fired from the current season of Celebrity Apprentice. He was also part of the eighth season of Celebrity Apprentice in 2009. During that series, Rodman was the fifth contestant fired.

  • Trapped Kids Found Dead Under Dirt Wall in North Carolina

Tragedy struck in Denver, North Carolina this weekend, as two children died in an accident at a construction site.

According to a report from Charlotte ABC affiliate WBTV, two children were playing in a dirt pit when a dirt wall collapsed on them. James Caldwell, age 7, and Chloe Arwood, age 6, were buried beneath thousands of pounds of dirt in the incident.

Caldwell’s father, who was working at the construction site, called police, who began efforts to dig the children out of the 24-feet deep pit. The search for the children lasted through the night, with around 75 rescue workers digging non-stop. The children’s bodies were located early Monday morning.

Neighbors have told WBTV that the children were cousins. The basement for a house was being dug out at the construction site at the time of the event.
