I have purchased Indica vista Quadrajet on Dec 31st 2009. When I collected documents from my dealer, I saw that my car manufacturing date is May 2009. I was shocked. I feel that i am cheated by my dealer who has delivered me a 7 months old car. Also the found some rust was there on the rear door assembly which was visible only if we pay attention. When i reported the same, they changed the relevant part within a week.

During the first service, when my car was lifted up, i noticed that there was rust at quite a few places. Now I am scared. My car is not even 3 weeks old and I see rust under the body. Can I go for anti rust coating now or is it too late.:confused: Is there any specific brand for the same and how much would it cost?

I have purchased Indica Vista QuadraJet(Gala Red) three weeks ago. Initially I had thought of not having teflon coating for my car but now only after 3 weeks, it looks very dull and minor scratches(Caused by wiping with dry cloth) are already visible. So had planned for teflon during first service.

But at the service center they that they use teflon from 3M company. So I doubt the authenticity. Also they say that teflon coating can be done in 1 hour. Is that true? Please tell me how to find out the genuine Teflon coating.

Also I have enquired at a couple of other places and they quoted 2500 to 5500. Can there be such a huge variation in price for the same product? Where can I get genuine Teflon coating or Waxyol Coating at Hyderabad?

I am not interested in 3M as I have learnt from this forum that the paint thickness is lost by 5 to 7 microns.
