    Julio Iglesias has sworn off sex. The legendary Spanish crooner has a reputation as a ladies man, but he told an audience in Uruguay this week that he abandoned his prolific sex life 15 years ago.

    According to a report from Uruguayan newspaper El Pais, during a performance in Punta del Este this week, the singer said that when he first performed there at age 24, he was “like a rabbit.” He said that he had a “superstition, a quirk or whatever, that I couldn’t go onstage to sing if I didn’t make love first. I gave that up completely 15 years ago.”

    Julio is the father of singers Julio Jr. and Enrique Iglesias.

    PUERTO ARMUELLES, Chiriquí. –Los directivos de la Zona Franca de Barú presentaron hoy, miércoles, al Consejo Municipal de Barú los tres proyectos para desarrollar una zona de exportación y reexportación en el área a un costo que superará los 100 millones de dólares.

    Blanca de Garrido, de la Secretaría de Preinversión del Ministerio de Economía y Finanzas, dijo que se realizan los estudios para que en poco tiempo se desarrollen los megaproyectos en Barú, con el fin de reactivar la deteriorada economía de ese distrito.

    Allí se pretende hacer un relleno en el mar para el desembarque de barcos de carga, un atracadero de cruceros y una zona franca en la ciudad de Puerto Armuelles.

    Now that the iPhone Foursquare app doesn’t require you to input an address when you add new places (FINALLY!), I’m going to be using Foursquare more. The 3rd-party app suggestions listed in the Mashable article linked above sound great to me. I’ll have to think of other ideas that might be useful or fun as well.

    Moro no RS e estarei me mudando pra SP ano que vem (remoção né)…Estou procurando por um lugar com baixos índices de violência e poluição, mas também não muito longe da "civilização" lol
    gostaria de (tirar dúvidas) e saber um pouco mais sobre as cidades do interior de SP daí. Qualquer informação será útil ^^’

    Celebutante Tila Tequila claims she is pregnant — but the eccentric reality star/model won’t be handing the unborn child over to her brother and sister-in-law as previously planned.

    In a pre-Christmas pregnancy announcement on her Twitter page, the often-controversial Tequila revealed that she would be acting as a surrogate mother for her sibling and his wife, who have been unable to conceive. However, following the death of her fiancee, Johnson & Johnson heiress Casey Johnson, nearly two weeks ago, Tila has changed her mind about motherhood.

    “I have a baby growing inside of me now, and that is my new happiness in life. It’s no longer my brother’s baby… It is MY very own baby,” Tila revealed in a post to her Twitter on Thursday night.

    The unnamed father is described by the celeb as “an American hero.” She wrote: “(He) Served in the US ARMY 4 10 years & fought war in Afgan (sic) & got shot. Now hes out of Army after 10 years and is now a fireman and EMT!”

    The baby news comes days after Tila unveiled plans to petition a court for custody of Casey’s young daughter, who is now being cared for by the socialite’s parents.

    Le député de Madrid, élu de la Gauche unie, n’exclut pas d’engager des poursuites contre les autorités américaines.

    "Je vais d’abord demander au FBI des explications, que j’attends toujours, et ensuite je me réserve le droit d’engager une procédure judiciaire", a-t-il dit à la chaîne américaine CNN.

    "Ces derniers jours, j’ai vu que les services de sécurité étaient impliqués dans des choses bien curieuses et commettaient de graves erreurs mais je n’aurais jamais imaginé que tout cela me concernerait un jour aussi directement", a-t-il ajouté.

    La photo la plus récente de Ben Laden dont disposent les services de renseignement américains remonte à 1998 et il a été décidé de la retoucher pour tenir compte du vieillissement du dirigeant islamiste.

    Le FBI a reconnu qu’il y avait des similitudes entre le portrait retouché et "une photographie existante d’un responsable politique espagnol".

    Un de ses agents, Jason Pack, a admis qu’un expert chargé de revoir le portrait de Ben Laden avait utilisé une photo trouvée sur internet. Cet expert "ignorait l’identité de la personne représentée sur ce cliché", a-t-il assuré.

    Pack a précisé que l’image controversée allait être retirée du site officiel "Rewards for Justice" du département d’Etat.

    "Je suis stupéfait de voir que le FBI a utilisé ma photo – mais ça aurait pu être la photo de n’importe qui d’autre – pour dresser le portrait d’un terroriste. C’est une atteinte à mon honneur, à mon image et à notre sécurité à tous", a dit Llamazares.

    Un conseiller de l’ambassade des Etats-Unis à Madrid, William Ostic, a déclaré à Reuters qu’il avait téléphoné samedi au parlementaire espagnol afin de lui présenter des excuses pour cette "erreur".

  • Imagem: Nova geração do Chrysler 300C

    Esse titulo da postagem ainda não é uma afirmação, pois o suposto 300C apareceu “em partes” em um vídeo, mostrando algumas partes do modelo, por isso a imagem de baixa resolução.

    Não é uma afirmação que é imagem da nova versão do 300C pois mesmo antes da Chrysler ter pedido um empréstimo ao governo americano para salvar a marca da falência, o sedan 300C já tinha sido apresentado em algumas imagens e vídeos, tanto por fora quanto por dentro.

    Ainda não sabemos se o vídeo é só uma jogada da marca ou se o 300C vai se torna realidade em breve. Esperamos que seja o novo projeto da Chrysler em um futuro próximo.

    Cash-strapped celeb Nicolas Cage is looking to put his tax troubles behind him. In a statement to PEOPLE this week, Cage says he’s going to pay $14 million in taxes to the Internal Revenue Service.

    “Over the course of my career I have paid at least $70 million in taxes, unfortunately, due to a recent legal situation, another approximate $14 million is owed to the IRS,” the actor told the mag. “However, I am under new business management and am happy to say that I am current for 2009, all taxes will be paid including any to be determined state taxes.”

    The star of films like Gone In 60 Seconds and Peggy Sue Got Married has been namedd in a number of recent lawsuits and recently lost two of his New Orleans homes in foreclosure auctions.

  • Conan O’Brien, NBC Nearing $30 Million Deal For “Tonight Show” Departure

    Conan O’Brien and NBC are reportedly close to hammering out a deal that would see Conan leave the network next month — opening the door for Jay Leno to return as host of The Tonight Show, a post he held for 17 years before passing the torch to Conan last May.

    Conan still has two-and-half years remain on his Tonight Show contract, says a source familiar with the negotiations tells The Associated Press. The alleged deal might involve NBC offering the Irish funnyman a settlement of more than $30 million and allowing him to launch a new show elsewhere as soon as this fall, according to The AP’s source.

    The agreement might also include a clause prohibiting Conan from bad-mouthing the network. The late night comic could also be forced to relinquish creative rights to popular characters like Pimpbot 5000 and Conando, as well as recurring segments such as In the Year 3000 and Desk Driving.
