Universal Search Results Now Show Up in Google Suggest
Google, from its founders right down to most of its software engineers, looks to be obsessed with speed. This has always been the case but recently, things are getting even worse, or better depending on how you look at it, and the company has gotten to the point where it’s introducing a couple of new features at the same time, with the same goal in mind, faster results and faster browsing. The first new feature is an improved Google Suggest, itself a time saving feature, with Universal search results incorporated in the box. I’m back
It’s good to be home. I got back from the UK on Thursday night. I had Friday off and was planning to use that to catch up at home and recover from the jet lag. However, I spent all day at the hospital with my 88 year old father. He has a history of heart disease and a checkup earlier in the week revealed a problem. It turns out that two of his old bypasses were blocked so he got three more stents to add to his collection.He seems to be doing fine. I’m exhausted. I seem to be the only one in my family who understands that we have to stay with our family members when they are ill like this. I’ve a brother who lives here and he did come down for a while when I called but he didn’t stay.
Dad’s wife is too old to stay around as well.
Sorry for the rant – I’m just tired and I need some time to get it back together after almost 2 weeks overseas.
It is good to be back though…

HTC HD2 Camera Fix
The recent hot fix for the HTC HD2s camera does work to some extent, though not in all situations.

These are taken on my HTC HD2 running the 1.48 WWE Test ROM.
In some shots, there is a clear reduction in redness, but in others it seems to make no difference!
Apologies for the lack of decent pictures, I’m not great with cameras, and the sun decided to hide whilst I did this!
Is this a good enough fix, or would you prefer something better?
