Barbie, that worldwide symbol of bubbleheaded glam, is getting a makeover. The burkha-clad Barbie is part of an exhibition by Italian designer Eliana Lorena, which is backed by Barbie creator Mattel.<\/span><\/p>\n

A collection of 500 Barbies is being sold in Italy to raise money for Save The Children. The sale is part of celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of Barbie this year.<\/p>\n
