This is where <a href=\"http:\/\/adlocal.biz\/\">AdLocal<\/a>, a location-based, self-service mobile ad platform that (re-)launched yesterday, comes in.<\/p>\n<p>Offered by Sunnyvale-based <a href=\"http:\/\/ciri.us\/\">Cirius Technologies USA<\/a>, the platform has been around in Japan since 2006, currently commanding the largest share of location-based advertising in Japan&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dentsu.com\/marketing\/pdf\/expenditures_2008.pdf\">$1 billion<\/a> [PDF] mobile ad space. And now Cirius is ready to utilize the years of experience the company gained in the world&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.techcrunch.com\/2008\/08\/09\/japan%E2%80%99s-super-advanced-mobile-web-too-unique-to-serve-as-a-global-blueprint\/\">most competitive<\/a> mobile market in the US (AdLocal isn&#8217;t available outside America and Japan at this point).<\/p>\n<p>AdLocal allows advertisers to manage their campaigns and publishers to add their mobile sites or applications by themselves through a Web-based dashboard.
