That’s now resolved, via Google’s “Professional Search<\/a>” page, which is just a tiny bit more complicated than a conventional search. You jot down how much you plan to spend on online ads, and what kind of help you’re looking for, and it spits out a list of “Google Advertising Professionals” — search pros who’ve earned Google’s equivalent of a Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval.<\/p>\n

That makes plenty of sense, right? It might make even more sense if Google (GOOG)\u00a0 publicized the directory (which is in beta, of course). But so far it seems have kept quiet about it. I learned about it via Search Engine Land<\/a>, which got tipped by Google pro Tim Cohn<\/a>.<\/p>\n
