Fred Anderson has been asked by The Bureau of National Affairs (BNA) World Climate Change Report to write a daily column titled "Anderson’s Notebook" during the second week of the Copenhagen conference of the parties (COP-15 ).  The column will provide perspectives on issues central to the negotiations.  "Anderson’s Notebook" will be featured as part of BNA’s special expanded coverage at <\/font>http:\/\/climate.bna.com\/Copenhagen<\/font><\/a>, which is being made free to site visitors worldwide. <\/p>\n

Today, Anderson’s first notebook entry, <\/font>Optimistic as Second Week of Climate Talks Begin<\/a><\/font>, reviews the first week of COP-15 and discusses the state of the talks and the prospects for a successful outcome.  <\/font><\/p>\n

Anderson is attending the Copenhagen conference as a member of the California Action Reserve Delegation, which includes US private sector and government officials.<\/font><\/div>\n
