Just got back from college for winter break.<\/p>\n<p>The good news: A1c is 5.8 &#8211; a lot lower then I was expecting. I was hoping to be under like 6.5 considering the minor troubles I&#8217;ve had exiting the honeymoon stage and getting back on track giving insulin for each meal. Whoo hoo to a 5.8<\/p>\n<p>The bad news: He wants me to wait another 1-2 visits before I get started on a pump. He said my insulin requirements are still so low that he doesn&#8217;t think its necessary yet.
