As all of North America now seems to be focused on the issue of one
\nterrorist wearing a pair of exploding underwear, I might as well
\ncomment on this latest bit of security theater that seems to have
\ntransfixed the nation. Pictures of the exploding underwear
\n\u201cbomb\u201d have now surfaced on the \u2018net. You can view
\nthem at ABC News: http:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/Blotter\/north\u2026<\/a><\/p>\n

Here is exactly what the text on this page says (I\u2019m not
\nmaking this up, this is seriously true): (warning: Some of the content
\nhere is graphic, read at your own risk<\/a>\u2026)<\/p>\n

\u201cThe first photo, to the left, shows the slightly charred
\nand singed underpants with the bomb packet still in place.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

I don\u2019t know what you think, but if you did an underwear
\nsearch of all the passengers flying these days, you\u2019d probably
\nfind half of them are wearing underwear that\u2019s slightly charred and singed with the \u201cbomb packet\u201d still in place<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The gastrointestinal health<\/a> of the general population is atrocious! And by the time you add in some airport food and in-flight processed food<\/a>
\nsnacks, pretty much everyone on the airplane is setting off a little
\nbomb packet by the time they get off the plane. (Why do you think
\neverybody can\u2019t wait to get off in such a hurry?)<\/p>\n

Processed food<\/a> has turned us all into in-flight terrorists<\/a>!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Frankly, I\u2019m not sure what\u2019s more of a threat to public health: Lousy airport security<\/a> or the digestive effects of in-flight meals. But they both have one thing in common: Underwear\u2026<\/p>\n

How to explode your rectum without harming anyone nearby<\/h1>\n

The ABC News story mentioned above goes on to state that this
\nterrorist\u2019s underwear was packing 80 grams of an explosive powder
\ncalled PETN, which government tests have revealed can blow a (tiny)
\nhole in the wall of an airplane.<\/p>\n

This is all brilliant stuff, of course. Truly brilliant. This whole
\nidea that underwear explosives might destroy an airplane all makes
\nsense except for the fact that the terrorist\u2019s butt cheeks are in the way!<\/em><\/p>\n

Had this explosive packet actually been set off, I can tell you
\nexactly what would have happened: There would have been a really loud
\npop, immediately followed by in-flight pieces of exploding butt cheeks.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m not trying to be funny here. This is a true description of the way bombs work. They explode outward<\/em>,
\ndestroying whatever is closest to them first. And this guy actually had
\nthis bomb wedged in between his butt cheeks. A sort of \u201cwedgie
\nbomb\u201d, if you will. A wedgie with a bang.<\/p>\n

This is a serious discussion. There was an attempted assassination
\nof a Middle Eastern prince that happened not long ago. It was even
\nreported in the press. The assassin had somehow managed to shove
\nexplosives into his rectum \u2014 I swear I\u2019m not making this up
\n\u2014 and waltzed right through security with it. He then shuffled
\ntoward his target, fired off the bomb and subsequently blew his butt
\ncheeks all over the room\u2026 without harming anyone else.<\/p>\n

Brilliant, huh?<\/p>\n

Think about it<\/strong>. In World War II films, you know how
\nyou always see brave soldiers throwing themselves on an enemy grenade
\nto protect their squad buddies? That actually works<\/em> because whoever is on top of the grenade absorbs the explosion. It\u2019s basic physics.<\/p>\n

In the case of super wedgie terrorist, he\u2019s sitting<\/a> right on top of the explosive powder!<\/em> Who do you think is going to absorb the full force of the explosion? It\u2019s going to be the guy sitting on it.<\/p>\n

This is physics 101. A small bomb in somebody\u2019s underwear is really only a threat to the idiot wearing the underwear.<\/p>\n

The first rule of making bombs is that you probably should not be sitting on top of them when they go off.<\/p>\n

Please remove your shoes and your underwear\u2026<\/h1>\n

Predictably, U.S. authorities have now talked this up into a huge
\nsecurity threat. And sooner or later, it\u2019s all bound to lead up
\nto mandatory underwear searches!<\/strong><\/p>\n

I can see it now: A row of air passengers stands nervously at the gate, nearly ready to board the plane when TSA<\/a>
\nenforcers approach and suddenly demand that everybody bend over and
\npull down their underwear for a quick search for
\n\u201cexplosives.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sadly, most Americans are so brain-numbed by security propaganda, they would probably go along with it!<\/p>\n

So why not just go all the way with this and pass a new TSA rule requiring all Americans to fly with no underwear!<\/strong><\/p>\n

The captain comes on the intercom, saying, \u201cVisibility is 80
\nmiles, we\u2019re climbing to 29,000 feet, and we\u2019re expecting
\nthis flight to be a little breezy<\/strong>\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

Yep, it\u2019s undies off when boarding planes from now on. As you pass through security, you can toss your water<\/a>
\nbottles in one bin, your underwear and panties in another bin, and your
\nself respect in a third. Essentially, if these security searches get
\nany more personal, they\u2019re going to undress us from head to toe
\nand make us wear medical gowns<\/strong>, chained to our seats
\nlike convicts in a prisoner transport plane. Once we land, we can
\nreclaim our underwear and, if we\u2019re lucky, a bit of our lost
\npride.<\/p>\n

Your bra<\/a> just might contain a bomb\u2026<\/h1>\n

Don\u2019t you just love how air travel<\/a>
\nauthorities keep coming up with new stuff that you have to throw away
\nbecause it might be a bomb? Remember when we could bring actual water
\non airplanes? Those were the good old days.<\/p>\n

Then one day they declare \u201cYour water might be a bomb!\u201d
\nSo millions of passengers now ditch their water at the security gate,
\nthrowing it all to waste.<\/p>\n

Then they came up with the idea that terrorists could \u201cmix
\nbinary liquids\u201d to make liquid bombs in the airplane toilet, and
\nthey used that to ban all liquids. So much for your toothpaste, contact
\nlens solution, herbal tinctures and superfood beverage. Toss it in the
\ntrash if you want to get on this plane, buddy!<\/p>\n

Now they\u2019re going after your underwear.<\/strong> And
\nit won\u2019t be long before you have to strip down to your birthday
\nsuit and hand over your undies for an \u201cinspection\u201d \u2014
\nright before they send you through the low-frequency X-ray machine that
\nscans your body parts and displays them on a screen as if you were butt
\nnaked.<\/p>\n

Just wait for a female terrorist who hides some explosives in her
\nbra one day. Following that, a new TSA security rule will be initiated
\nand all flights will become bra-less<\/em>. No underwear, no bras, no water\u2026 what the heck is happening here? Are airlines<\/a>
\ngoing to shave our heads and tattoo barcodes on our arms, too, just in
\ncase they lose track of which person was handcuffed to which seat?<\/p>\n

Absurd security<\/h1>\n

This is all getting beyond the point of absurdity. If a terrorist
\nwants to pack a little explosive powder and stuff it down their pants,
\nor up their rectum, or have it surgically sewn into their abdomen, there\u2019s nothing we can do to stop that<\/em> short of strip-searching every single passenger.<\/p>\n

And that\u2019s not security: That\u2019s just a demeaning police state<\/strong> that treats its own people like criminals. If we all have to fly without underwear and bras, the terrorists win!<\/em><\/p>\n

Besides, all this ridiculous security isn\u2019t about saving lives<\/strong>.
\nIf U.S. authorities wanted to save lives, they would ban aspartame, or
\noutlaw chemotherapy, or arrest the crooks at the drug companies who are
\nkilling over a hundred thousand people every single year \u2014 a far
\ngreater number than those killed by in-flight acts of terror (even
\nincluding 2001 and 9\/11).<\/p>\n

Even if there were no airport security at all<\/em>, the risk of being killed by an in-flight act of terror would be a fraction of the risk of being killed by pharmaceuticals<\/a>
\nin any given year. So why are U.S. authorities going crazy about
\nairport security when so many Americans are dying from pharmaceutical
\ntoxicity every single day? Statistically speaking, the number of people
\nkilled by dangerous prescription medications is equivalent to one jumbo
\nair liner falling out of the sky and crashing to the ground every single day<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Yet that threat to health and safety goes entirely unmentioned. Un-investigated. Un-noticed.<\/p>\n

So while over 100,000 Americans are dying each year from dangerous
\nmedications, the mainstream media has us all fixated on a pair of exploding underwear?<\/em> Are you kidding me?<\/p>\n

The whole thing has become a complete circus. Real threats to your
\nsafety are ignored while miniscule threats are hyped up as if they were
\nlife-and-death to everyone.<\/p>\n

And yet, amazingly, most air travelers still go along with it!<\/em><\/p>\n

This just goes to show you how easily the population can be
\ncontrolled by fear. I never thought that a photo of a pair of singed
\nunderwear would scare a hundred million adults into giving up their
\nfreedoms, but this is what has apparently taken place.<\/p>\n

How about zero-security flights?<\/h1>\n

Here\u2019s an idea: Airlines should offer optional zero-security flights<\/strong>.
\nOn those flights, there are no security checks. Anyone with a valid
\nconcealed-carry permit could bring any weapons they want, and the pilot
\nand co-pilot can be armed, too. You can pass right through security
\nwith no X-rays, no checks, no delays. You simply sign a disclaimer and
\ngo right from the check-in counter to your boarding gate with zero
\nhassles.<\/p>\n

I would gladly fly on these zero-security flights<\/strong>.
\nYou know why? Because 99.99% of the people flying on those planes would
\nbe cops packing heat, ex-military people packing heat and
\nconcealed-carry citizens packing heat. Any terrorist stupid enough to
\ntry something on such a flight would find himself facing a
\ncitizen\u2019s army of vigilant passengers.<\/p>\n

Zero-security flights would be the safest airplanes in the sky,
\nbecause no terrorist, hijacker or violent criminal would dare board one.<\/p>\n

Plus, we all get to keep our underwear on<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
