So I formally apologise now.<\/p>\n<p>I will also say hello as I joined the forum today. I was newly diagnosed diabetic on Christmas eve. I have been coming ill for quite a while and took it to be my Thyroids which are also on the blink.<\/p>\n<p>The doctor has put me on Metform 500g and told me to keep a food diary for two weeks then see the diabetic nurse.<\/p>\n<p>A friend of mine has given me a monitoring machine (Optium Xcced) and I have played with the thing three times a day. But I only get a &quot;Hi&quot; result not once have I had a reading.<\/p>\n<p>I am feeling pretty ****, no energy, drinking like a fish and have flashes before my eyes.
