The sustainable stadium is housed within an artificial hill made of recycled rubber, with a blue pigment sprayed onto corrugated aluminum sheets.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.instablogsimages.com\/images\/2009\/12\/31\/blue-volcano_2_8OSDv_69.jpg\" alt=\"blue volcano_2\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The green stadium features an open roof which allows natural light to enter the premises. Moreover, the unique stadium is equipped with a zeppelin-like balloon structure that covers the central area providing much-needed shade for the occupants. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.instablogsimages.com\/images\/2009\/12\/31\/blue-volcano_3_7AwjI_69.jpg\" alt=\"blue volcano_3\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The balloon structure, dubbed the \u201cCloud\u201d has sewn-in photovoltaic cells that generate renewable energy for the stadium.
