Since Jeff Han, a research scientist at New York University\u2019s Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, first\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ted.com\/talks\/jeff_han_demos_his_breakthrough_touchscreen.html\">presented his multitouch wall<\/a> at the TED Conference in 2006, we\u2019ve seen other multitouch technologies trickle into the electronic marketplace. The cellphone has used the technology most, starting with the iPhone, and then moving into other smartphones using Google\u2019s Android platform and Hewlett-Packard TouchSmart countertop computer.
