Stir in flour and cook several minutes. Slowly add the stock and tomato paste, stirring all the time. Add ginger. Bring to a boil, then simmer gently for about 15 minutes. Add soy sauce and serve. <\/p>\n<p \/><strong>NOTES:<\/strong><br \/>\nMakes about 2 1\/2 cups.<\/p>\n<p>\nVegetables and grain dishes alike take on a distinctly Oriental air when served with this flavourful sauce.<\/p>\n<p>\n&#8220;Found these recipes in an old book of my mum&#8217;s from the 70&#8217;s (her vegetarian phase as she calls it&#8230;) &#8211; &#8216;Laurel&#8217;s Kitchen &#8211; A Handbook for Vegetarian Cookery and Nutrition&#8217;.
