The system works by raising charging power to as much as 300KW to replicate the familiar filling up at a gas station in about six minutes. <\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The EDISON group, which includes the Technical University of Denmark and its and its Ris\u00f8-DTU research center, as well as Denmark\u2019s Dong Energy and local electric utility \u00d8stkraft, the Eurisco R&#038;D center, and IBM as well as Siemens, initially wants to develop a 43.5KW rapid charge capability for a 20 minute charge on a 400V 63Amp connection.
