According to Nielsen ratings, ABC&#8217;s <em>Dick Clark\u2019s New Year\u2019s Rockin\u2019 Eve with Ryan Seacrest<\/em> was the most-watched NYE special of the night &#8212; attracting 8.7 million viewers and up 2% from last year! <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.popcrunch.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/12\/dickclark200607blog.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"108395_9083\" width=\"500\" height=\"330\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-32693\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Performers like Green Day and Rihanna helped NBC\u2019s <em>New Year\u2019s Eve With Carson Daly<\/em> garner its largest audience ever. Approximately 3.4 million viewers between 18-49 tuned into the countdown special hosted by the former <em>TRL<\/em> host.
