Duct tape can really help keep things tidy. Here are just a few ways I use duct tape to keep my home organized:<a href=\"http:\/\/www.blisstree.com\/files\/2010\/01\/ducttape.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border-right: 0px;border-top: 0px;margin-left: 0px;border-left: 0px;margin-right: 0px;border-bottom: 0px\" height=\"214\" alt=\"duct tape\" src=\"http:\/\/www.blisstree.com\/files\/2010\/01\/ducttape_thumb.jpg\" width=\"214\" align=\"right\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tape down cords. As I mentioned in a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.blisstree.com\/articles\/home-safety-minimizing-slip-and-fall-problems\/\">home safety tips<\/a> article, taping down cords helps prevent people from tripping and injuring themselves<\/li>\n<li>Keep things that fall over where they belong. A little piece of tape keeps stuff like computer speakers or the Funkey starter kit critter on the kids\u2019 computer desks, even when they are being a little vigorous with their mice. I don\u2019t know how many times I picked them off the floor and stuck them back on the desks before I taped them down.<\/li>\n<li>Reinforce flimsy organizer hinges. A lot of little containers have one little seam of plastic holding the lids on. I\u2019ve discovered that running a piece of tape along the hinge on the outside of heavily used containers helps them last longer.<\/li>\n<li>Keep containers fastened.
